Shure 333 Ribbon Microphone

$400.00 USD
Here’s a Shure 333 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! In the 50’s and 60’s Shure sold both bi-directional and uni-directional ribbon microphones. Both of their models had “studio” and “p.a.” versions of their microphones, the studio versions costing more than double of the lower models. The 333 is the studio version of the popular 330, with a bigger transformer that allowed for M (full frequency) and V (bass rolloff) settings, and an ultra-cardioid pattern as opposed to the super-cardioid pattern in the 330. Overall, these microphones sound similar with more high end than the bi-directional versions due to having a closed back. These microphones excel on snare, guitar amps, vocals, horns, and more! If you’ve been looking for a classic ribbon, this is the microphone for you. This microphone has been serviced with a new ribbon - there is some wear to the paint in some areas but overall it’s looking good for its age. Grab this studio version 333 ribbon microphone from Shure!
