Airline Model 62-7716 Dynamic Microphone (Shure 545S) (#1)
Here’s a Shure 545S that was rebranded for Airline! This 545S was sold with a tape recorder, thus it was rebranded by Airline (Model 62-7716). Regardless of the rebrand and model number, this is the exact same microphone as a 545S. The Shure 545 was the earliest version of their dynamic microphone (the precursor to the SM57), and has a brighter and more natural sound than today’s 57. This Airline Model 62-7716 is one of the early USA Made versions. This microphone has also been converted to XLR.
