For the price, these are some of the best affordable vintage ribbons available. This model has a large proximity effect, with nice high end and a smooth tone overall that makes it versatile across many different sources. If you’ve been looking for a vintage ribbon with good looks and sound, this is the microphone for you! This particular model was originally high impedance, but the transformer was swapped with a 250 ohm Beyer ribbon transformer which made a nice match for this microphone!
