AKG D12E Dynamic Microphone
Here’s an AKG D12E Dynamic Microphone from the 1980’s! AKG’s D12E was the later version of the D12, and featured the same design as the original D12 with a few parts changes. The D12E has a plastic bass chamber (the original was metal), the diaphragm is made of a different material than some of the original D12 models, and the body requires a clip as opposed to the original using a cable / threaded adapter mounted to the body. Overall, the tones are similar, but the D12E tends to have a tad deeper low end than the earlier models. This D12E has been serviced and retains its full low end. If you’re looking for a solid kick drum or bass cab microphone, this is the one for you! Grab this classic D12E Dynamic Microphone from AKG!
