AKG D30 Dynamic Microphone
Here's an AKG D30 Dynamic Microphone from the 1960's! AKG made 3 different models (the D30, D36, and D45) that featured two of their famous capsules (found in the D12) placed in opposite directions inside the housing. Using the two elements, a variety of different polar patterns can be achieved, with the prominent setting being bi-directional. AKG didn't make many of this model, so they reach high prices whenever they come up for sale. The D30 in particular was made popular by John Bonham using it frequently. This D30 is in great overall condition with two fully healthy capsules with their full low end response. This one also has a custom stand adapter piece that makes mounting this microphone easy. You won't find a much better and more versatile dynamic microphone than this one. Grab this rare D30 from the glory days of AKG!
