Bang and Olufsen BM4 Ribbon Microphone (#2)
Here’s a B&O BM4 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! Bang and Olufsen's BM3/4 ribbon microphones were the precursor to the Royer R121. This one has been fully serviced with a new ribbon, has had the impedance switch wired to low impedance permanently, and the TMO switch bypassed (the switches become intermittent over time). This is a dark microphone with low output best for guitar amps and drum applications. The classic design of this microphones has been the basis for many ribbon microphones of this style today. Grab this B&O BM4 ribbon microphone to own one of the first of this classic ribbon design!
