Beyerdynamic M160 Ribbon Microphone Pair

$1,150.00 USD
Here’s a pair of original 1960’s Beyerdynamic M160 double ribbon microphones. These are the very first version ever produced, with silver bodies and original “Beyer” logo’s. Eddie Kramer used one of these early versions for Jimi Hendrix’s guitar and vocals. It was also said that some of John Bonham’s famous drum tones were recorded with an M160. Needless to say, these have been a very popular microphone option since the 1960’s and owning two of the original versions is a great addition to any mic locker! While these don’t have matching serials, they have both been re-ribboned and are sounding close and ready for 50 + more years of capturing sounds. For their age, their bodies are in very nice condition. Both of these microphones have different connectors but come with their original connectors (new cable / XLR’s wired up). Grab a pair of original silver bodied M160’s from Beyer!
