Bruno VDHP Ribbon Microphone
Here's a Bruno VDHP Ribbon Microphone from the 1940's! Bruno Laboratories was a popular audio brand out of New York in the 1930's and 40's. Many of Bruno's microphones were a unique ribbon type that required an external power source, however this VDHP was one of their more rare models and functions as a typical ribbon microphone. These microphones were originally high impedance, and this one has been modded with a new Cinemag transformer and balanced output to XLR. This microphone needs a good amount of gain and works best on louder sources (drums and guitar amps). If you're looking for a dark ribbon with a very large proximity effect (lots of low end), then this is the microphone for you! Grab this rare and fully restored VDHP Ribbon from Bruno Laboratories!
