Cadenza Ribbon Microphone Matched Pair
Here’s a pair of Cadenza “Rocket” Ribbon Microphones, made in England in the late 1950’s. These microphones have been upgraded with Cinemag CM-9887 Transformers - giving them a balanced and warm tone with a solid low end. Finding a good pair of ribbon microphones for overheads, blumlien, etc. can be difficult to find for a good price. This pair would work well for drum overheads, stereo piano, as room microphones, and more. These have long thin ribbons that have a nice low end without getting too bright. I’ve fitted both with new ribbons and XLR cables and they are ready for use! Grab a pair of serviced ribbons from the 1950’s!
