"EAP" (Cadenza) Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a 1950’s British ribbon microphone that was rebranded by “EAP”. “EAP” stood for Elizabethan which was a tape recording company in the UK through the 50’s and 60’s. This microphone is really a Cadenza ribbon microphone - it has been restored with a new ribbon, Cinemag transformer, and new cable. This Cadenza is a great ribbon for guitar amps, drums, horns, and more. It has a nice long ribbon with block style magnets that give it a warm, balanced sound. If you’re looking for a reliable vintage ribbon that has been restored with top quality components, this Cadenza will make a great fit for your studio! Click here to listen to this microphone.
