Here's an Electro Voice RE-18 dynamic microphone from the late 1980's! This one was on the last microphones in EV's Variable D series, which have a reduced proximity effect. THE RE-18 is very similar to the RE-15/16, however it has a shock-mounted element and updated baffle. If you've been looking for a similar sound to the RE15/16 for a better price (likely because less of these were made and they are more unknown), this is the microphone for you!
