RCA 74-B Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA 74-B Ribbon Microphone from the 1950’s! These ribbons were originally released as a low cost, everyday microphone for announcing and broadcasting. These have a smooth and somewhat flat frequency response that makes them a nice option for guitar amps / acoustics. You can’t go wrong with the warmth and classic look of the 74-B! This one is in incredible condition for it’s age, it’s tough to find them this clean. This one also has a new ribbon and a Belden cable to XLR. Grab this clean 74-B from the early days of RCA!
