RCA 74-B Ribbon Microphone (Lundahl)
Here’s an RCA 74-B from the late 1940’s! The 74-B was designed with a transformer that lowers the proximity effect to make it more usable for voice (what the microphone was originally intended for). This 74-B has a new Lundahl transformer which greatly improves the low end of this microphone. This microphone would work well on guitar amps, drums, horns, vocals, acoustic’s and more. While this microphone has some chips in the original paint and some wear to the grills, it is overall looking nice for it’s age. This one has been serviced with a new ribbon and cable to XLR - ready for studio use! Grab this classic RCA ribbon microphone with an upgraded Lundahl transformer!
