RCA SK-46 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA SK-46 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! These ribbons were one of RCA’s many attempts to create a large ribbon sound in a small body. These have become some of my favorites, as they have a nice dark, thick sound that works well for blending. Whether your using the SK-46 for drums or guitar amps, you’ll find that they offer great warm results. This one has some marks to the body, but is functioning perfectly with a new ribbon and cable.
