Here's a Realistic 33-989 dynamic microphone that was made in Japan in the 1970's! Realistic and other Japanese audio companies copied popular models and rebranded them. This would be Realistic's copy of an AKG D12. While this microphone sounds nothing like a D12, it features a nice large diaphragm and is one of the nicest sounding Japanese dynamic microphones I have heard. This one has smooth highs and an overall warmth that make it a versatile option. This one has been modded to XLR (after taking the photos).
