Shure 315 Ribbon Microphone NOS
Here’s a very special Shure 315 ribbon microphone for a variety of reasons. Shure announced their first line of gradient (ribbon) microphones in May of 1952. This Shure 315 was made on May 19th, 1952, making it one of the first ribbon microphones Shure made. In addition to the date, this 315 is in mint NOS condition with the original hang tag. As a testament to how nicely this one was stored, it still has the original ribbon which is in perfect condition (I’ve never had a 315 come in that didn’t need a new ribbon). Needless to say, this is one of the nicest 315’s you will ever find! The Shure 315 has a very open ribbon sound that works great on guitar amps, drums, horns, as a room mic, and more. This one has a 3 pin cable that has been wired up for XLR - ready for studio use! Grab this classic Shure ribbon microphone that looks like it just came out of a time capsule!
