Shure 315S Ribbon Microphone (#1)
Here’s a Shure 315S Ribbon Microphone from the 1950’s (#1)! Originally designed to be an every day utility microphone, this 315 ribbon has nice results on a variety of sources. These don’t have a massive proximity effect and produce a smooth response with nice mid-range / high end. I’ve set this one up with a new ribbon, cable, etc - this one is studio ready! This is the 1960's model that came with a switch, though I've bypassed it for ease of use. Grab this classic 315S ribbon from Shure!
