Here’s a Shure model 300 ribbon microphone from the early 1950’s! This microphone was made within the first year that these models went into production. This Shure model 300 has a smooth high end that easily turns harsh sources into warm sounds. These share the same ribbon motors as 315's, though the 300 has a different transformer with a M/V high pass option that slightly extends it’s overall frequency response over the 315.
