Telefunken MD405/1 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s a rare Telefunken MD405/1 Dynamic Microphone from the 1960’s! This rare dynamic was made by Sennheiser, yet has a different capsule than the similar Sennheiser MD405 (which has the same capsule as an MD408). This Telefunken MD405/1 has an early version of the famous MD409 capsule. I haven’t seen many of these microphones come up for sale, but this one sounds great! If you’re looking for a dynamic that has smooth / bright highs and punchy lows, this is the microphone for you. I think this one makes a great alternative if you’re looking for something similar to the MD409. Grab this rare Sennheiser made Telefunken MD405/1!
