Aiwa DM-68 Dynamic Microphone
Here's a rare 1960's Japanese Aiwa DM-68 Dynamic Microphone that was modeled after an AKG D19. Aiwa made copies of many different ribbon and dynamic microphones, and this is their version of a D19. Like a D19, this microphone has a filter down the side of the microphone that allows sound to reach the backside of the capsule. When inspecting the capsule even the diaphragm and cover was modeled after an AKG style capsule. The sound of this microphone is bright, thought it has a nice aggressive punch in the low end. This DM-68 would work well on a variety of sources! Grab this rare Japanese Aiwa D19 clone for some nice dynamic tones!
