Aiwa VM-15 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an Aiwa VM15 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! There was quality microphone engineering coming out of Japan in the 60’s to compete (and copy) popular USA models. While many of those modes differ from RCA, Shure, etc, they were well built and have an impressive sound. These Aiwa VM15’s are some of my favorite, as they have a nice output, clear top end, fat bottom end, and work nicely on a variety of sources. Despite looking similar to an RCA 77, these are much smaller in size. For the price, these are fantastic ribbons that will beat out others in the same price range. This one is clean, and has a new ribbon and XLR cable. Grab this incredible sounding VM15 from Aiwa!
