Aiwa VM-16 Ribbon Microphone

$650.00 USD
Here’s an Aiwa VM-16 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! The Aiwa VM-16 is similar to the VM-15, though the VM-16 has a different transformer and bass roll-off options available on the bottom of the microphone. The VM-16 cost more than double the price of the VM-15, further proving that the VM-16 was the higher quality broadcasting version. These microphones have a strong bass response and proximity effect that makes them a nice option on drums, and other sources that need a nice thick texture. This microphone is branded “THK” as it was likely used in a Japanese broadcasting studio in the 60’s. This one has a new ribbon and cable - ready for use! Grab this rare VM-16 Ribbon Microphone from Aiwa!
