AKG D12E Dynamic Microphone
Here’s an early 1980’s AKG D12E, the successor to the D12. The D12 is a legendary kick drum microphone that has been used on countless records since the 1950’s. The D12E had a few modern manufacturing changes, but overall has the same capsule / bass chamber as the original D12’s. This D12 is sounding great and ready for use on your kick drum and bass cabs! This one has some wear to the grills and two small cracks that were repaired in the plastic casing. Overall it looks nice and is structurally sound. This is the same D12E that I used for my recent kick drum microphone video - use it as a reference for how this one sounds! I don’t have a clip for this one, but can offer some recommendations. Grab one of the most classic kick drum microphones out there in this AKG D12E!
