Here’s a rare AKG D15 from the late 1950’s! These were the first reporter microphones with a tight uni-directional pattern. Like most AKG microphones from the 1950’s, this one was made with a very high quality capsule that produces a warm, full sound. This one can be punchy with aggressive highs at the same time. If you’re looking for a unique dynamic microphone that you don’t see in many studios but can be used on many different sources - this is the microphone for you!
