AKG D17 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s an AKG D17 Dynamic Microphone from the 1950’s! Similar to the D12, the D17 was originally made for vocal use. The AKG D17 has the same element as an AKG D12, though it lacks the bass chamber and has a different body. The capsule itself in these microphones has nice low end, but the lack of the bass chamber and tighter body gives the D17 a more airy and open sound. These may not have the same punch as a D12, but they are well built dynamics that could have nice results on a variety of different sources. This D17 is in near immaculate condition, in its original case with it’s original large tuchel connector and a new AKG clip. Grab this clean D17 from the glory days of AKG!
