AKG D224E Dynamic Microphone (High Freq System Only)
Here’s a late 1960’s AKG D224E dynamic microphone! These were some of the first microphones to implement both high and low frequency systems. In this microphone, only the high frequency system is working (hence the low price). This microphone is very usable as-is and still has some nice tonal qualities, but won't be usable to it's full extent. If you have a D224E and only the low frequency system is working, this one could be used as a donor. Grab this D224E microphone for effects or to capture some nice high end out of any source!
