AKG D25 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s an AKG D25 Dynamic Microphone from the 1960’s! AKG made a few different microphone models with their famous D12 dynamic capsule / bass chamber combo. The main difference between the D25 and other AKG models was the shock mount which allowed the body to be suspended between the poles. Despite some design changes over the years, all AKG dynamic microphones in the D12 line feature the same capsule / bass chamber design - the main difference between all models is the different body types (which have an effect on the sound). The D25 is sought after as less of these models were produced than D12’s! This microphone has some wear to the body, but functions perfectly with its full low end. A new XLR cable has been added, and the bass cut switch has been bypassed so that it is always on its full frequency setting. Grab this classic D25 Dynamic Microphone from AKG!
