Here's a 1960's Altec 660A "salt shaker" dynamic microphone. These have the same dynamic element as other Altec "salt shakers" (Altec 633), however the 660A has a smaller housing. These microphones are omni-directional and have a nice mid range and high end that they have become known for. When used on guitar amps, drums, and more these have nice vintage colored results!
