Bang and Olufsen BM3 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a Bang and Olufsen BM3 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! Bang and Olufsen was based in Denmark and made a variety of different ribbon microphones (and a few dynamics). These BM3’s have inspired the cosmetics of many of today’s designs (such as the Royer R121), though these B&O’s use alnico magnets that have much less gain. Despite being low gain, these microphone excel on guitar amps and other high SPL sources! If you’ve been looking for a smooth ribbon, these are the right choice. This one is in clean condition and has been converted with an XLR pigtail. Grab this photogenic BM3 Ribbon Microphone from Bang and Olufsen!
