Bang and Olufsen BM4 Ribbon Microphone - $425 - Here’s an early 1960’s B&O BM4 in fully restored condition. This one is near mint! These Denmark made ribbons inspired the Royer R121. If you’re looking for a microphone with a smooth and airy sound, this one is for you! Note that all B&O mic’s need a good amount of clean gain and I recommend them for use on loud sources. This one has been wired up for its “M” (full frequency) mode and low impedance. It still has its original B&O connector that I wired up to an XLR connector. This is a microphone with a great design that will sound great on guitar amps. Grab a piece of ribbon history in this B&O BM4!
