Bang and Olufsen BM5 Stereo Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a Bang and Olufsen BM5 Stereo Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! These stereo ribbons were made in Denmark with quality in mind and were some of the first “Blumlein” microphones available. B&O microphones require lots of gain and work best on high SPL sources (drums / guitar amps), however they can still be used on quieter sources if some extra noise and character isn’t bothersome. This BM5 is in amazing condition for it’s age, with it’s original ribbons still in perfect condition. The one will also come with it’s original cable and mount (which included a standard stand adapter). If you’ve been looking for a good B&O ribbon, this is the microphone for you!
