Bang and Olufsen MD1 Dynamic Microphone
Here’s a rare Bang and Olufsen MD1 Dynamic Microphone from the 1950’s! The Bang and Olufsen MD1 is sometimes referred to as the BM1, and was the first microphone Bang and Olufsen made. Unlike many of their other models (which are ribbons), the MD1 is a large diaphragm dynamic microphone! These are the rarest of the B&O microphones, and this one comes in great condition with its original cable. These have a crisp sound that adds a nice texture. The closest comparison would be an Altec Saltshaker, though the MD1 has more output!
