Beyer M160 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an original Beyer M160 from the 1960’s! This is the very first version Beyer made in it’s original silver finish. The M160 is Beyer’s top of the line ribbon microphone which features two ribbons directly on top of one another. Having two ribbons rather than one (M260) adds depth. These M160’s have a nice smooth / dark response that work nicely on guitar amps or as overhead microphones. This M160 is a clean early example, which still has the original “Made in W. Germany” sticker. This one also comes in it’s original case with a new DIN to XLR cable. The M160 has become one of the most classic ribbon microphones out there - owning the original version is a nice add to any microphone locker! Grab this original M160 ribbon microphone from Beyer!
