Beyer Soundstar X1 Dynamic Microphone (#1)
Here's a Beyer Soundstar X1 Dynamic microphone from the early 1970’s (#1)! Beyer likely produced this model as an answer to Sennheiser’s MD421. Compared with a 421, the X1 is darker and has a thicker low end while the 421 is more airy and pronounced in the mid-range. This X1 makes a great match for drum uses, guitar amps, and even vocals. This model has a small tuchel connection (original cable included with new XLR cord) and comes with the original mount which is difficult to find. If you’re looking for a lesser known dynamic microphone with a dark, thick sound, this one is for you! Grab this Soundstar X1 Dynamic Microphone from Beyer!
