Beyerdynamic M500 Ribbon Microphones
Here’s three different Beyerdynamic ribbon microphones, two original and one that has been converted to an active circuit. The two original M500’s sound great with a nice peak in the high end. The modded M500 (will require phantom power) has roughly double the gain of a normal M500 and the mod has given it a slightly increased low end. Check out my story for comparisons with the active M500! All three are in overall good condition and ready for studio use! I like these on the same sources as other Beyerdynamic ribbons - guitar amps, drums, vocals, overheads, etc. Grab a classic Beyerdynamic ribbon in one of these M500’s!
