Beyerdynamic X1N(C) Soundstar
Here’s an early 1970’s Beyerdynamic X1 Dynamic microphone. These often get compared to Sennheiser MD421’s but are a very different microphone. The X1 has a very solid low-mid range and sounds anything but harsh. This microphone would work well on vocals, drums, kick, guitar amps, and more. It does a great job of getting an isolated sound from whatever source it’s located on. There aren’t a ton of these out there, otherwise I think you’d see these on toms all the time! This one is in great condition and comes with a shock mount that holds it perfectly. Grab one of Beyerdynamic’s less talked about vintage dynamic microphones!
