These feature an easy to access 16 position EQ switch that makes these incredibly versatile microphones. Unlike most EV microphones, these RE38’s have options for extra proximity effect that gives these microphones an extra punch when needed. On the other end, these microphones can also easily roll off the proximity effect to sound similar to other Electro Voice microphones.
