Fisher MDS1 Stereo Dynamic Microphone (402/1 Capsules)
Here's a Fisher Sennheiser MDS1 Stereo Dynamic Microphone that has 1950's Sennheiser 402/1 Capsules inside! The 402/1 was the first first version of what became the MD409N capsule (which was labeled the 402/3). The 402/1 capsules can be found inside the Sennheiser MD407, MD403, and other models. The 402/1 differs from the 402/3 in that it has a different resonator covering over the capsule that was made out of aluminum (they later changed this to a plastic covering in the 402/3). Regardless of all of the details, this is a great sounding stereo microphone that has a bright, mid-rangey tone that makes it great for guitar amps and more. Grab this stereo dynamic microphone with early Sennheiser 402/1 capsules!
