Lustraphone (Grundig) VR53 Ribbon Microphone
Here's a Lustraphone VR53 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! This microphone was rebranded by Grundig to sell with their tape recorders. Lustraphone was based in London and made a variety of different ribbon and dynamic microphones for broadcast, public address, and recording! These ribbons have a dark sound with a solid low end response that makes them a nice option for drums, guitars, horns, vocals, and more! This one has a new ribbon and has been modded with a new balanced cable to XLR (not pictured). If you’re looking for a solid ribbon that gives classic warm textures, this is the microphone for you! Grab this VR53 Ribbon from Lustraphone!
