Machatsch KM3 Tube Condenser Microphone

$850.00 USD

Here's a Machatsch KM3 Tube Condenser Microphone from the 1960's! Helmut Machatsch was a technician out of Heidenau, Germany that worked on various audio equipment. He went on to make a line of 3 different microphones that resembled the CMV563 microphones from Neumann. This rare KM3 was one of his later models, and runs on the same EC92 tube as the CMV563. This microphone is complete with its original omni capsule (similar to the M55k from Neumann). It has a bright sound with nice character for acoustic guitars, as a room microphone, vocals, and more. The red "jewel" on the microphone can be removed to reveal a threaded hole for easy mounting. This KM3 will come with a Neumann power supply (serviced and working well with this model), original NOS connectors with a new cable, a step up transformer (required with the power supply), and an original power cable. This microphone has serviced and is ready for use right out of the box. Grab this rare KM3 tube condenser microphone from Machatsch!
