National WM-780 Condenser Microphone
Here's a National WM-780 Condenser Microphone from the 1970's! National made a variety of different high end ribbon, dynamic, and condenser microphones out of Japan throughout the 1960's and 70's. These WM-780's only run on a 9V battery, with settings for M, V, and V1 (bass roll-off settings). While the outside of this one has some light to medium wear, the capsule inside is in near perfect condition. There's practically zero info out there about these, but from a sound perspective these have a crisp high end with an overall natural sound that makes them an excellent condenser for their price range. If you're looking for a unique option that not many studios have for acoustics, vocals, drums, and more, this is a fun one to have around. This microphone comes in its original case with a new XLR installed. Grab this very rare WM-780 from National!
