Oktava ML-19 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a Russian Oktava ML-19 Ribbon Microphone from the 1980’s! These are uni-directional cardioid ribbons with a great sound and solid output. Based on the internals, the designs for these were somewhat based off of an RCA BK-5B. For the price, there isn’t a better ribbon out there in my opinion. The sound is smooth without an overtaking proximity effect and sip ring amount of high end for a ribbon. These are fantastic on guitar amps, drums, vocals, horns, etc. This one is in overall nice condition for it’s age with the original clip and base stand. Grab this underrated ML-19 ribbon microphone from Oktava!
