RCA 77-D Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA 77-D Ribbon Microphone from the 1950’s! The RCA 77-D was RCA’s poly-directional design, with an adjustable acoustic labyrinth that allows for different bi-directional, uni-directional, and non-directional settings. These microphones have a nice full sound on their M setting, with bass roll-off options available on the bottom of the microphone (V1 & V2). These ribbons are versatile and make a nice pairing with drums, guitars, vocals, horns, and more! This 77 is in great condition for its age with a few minor cosmetic marks to the body. Overall it's a near perfect example of an original 77-D. This one has been serviced with a new ribbon, cable, and grill cloth. Grab this RCA 77-D from the glory days of RCA!
