RCA 77-D Ribbon Microphone
Here’s one of the first versions of the RCA 77-D from the mid 1940’s. These are iconic ribbon microphones with the classic pill look. The RCA 77 is “Polydirectional” with an adjustable acoustical labyrinth that allows for uni-directional, bi-directional, and non-directional settings. The 77 is great on drums, vocals, guitars, pianos, and more. This particular 77 is in great condition with a few bumps and nicks to show it’s age. The gold sections in the middle have been repainted, and the grills have been re-clothed. This one has a standard stand adapter and a new XLR cord, ready for studio use! Own one of the most iconic microphones designs ever in this RCA 77-D!
