RCA 77-DX/D Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA 77-DX and RCA 77-D Ribbon Microphone from the 1950’s (sold separately)! The iconic RCA 77-D/DX was known as “poly-directional” due to its variable directional patterns available via the adjustable acoustic labyrinth on the backside of the microphone. While the 77-DX is the same exact build as the 77-D, the DX model has a few db of extra gain due to some changes in the transformer. Overall, both of these microphones are in great condition for their age with some minor chipping and scratches to their bodies. Both microphones are sounding great with new ribbon + XLR cables. RCA 77’s are versatile ribbons that sound great on drums, vocals, horns, guitars, and more! Grab one of these RCA 77's if you’ve been looking for a great deal on a classic ribbon microphone!
