These classic “pill shaped” ribbons have been photographed and recorded with some of the biggest acts in music over the years. Today, they make versatile ribbons microphones for vocals, drums, guitars, and more. The RCA 77 has an acoustical labyrinth that filters the back side of the ribbon to allow for multiple polar pattern options. This is a very clean example, with hardly any wear to the body.
