RCA BK-11A Ribbon Microphone
Here’s a mid 1960’s RCA BK-11A, one of the last ribbon microphones they ever made. The BK-11 was one of a few different microphones RCA made to try and recreate the sound of a 44 in a lower profile microphone. In my opinion, these are some of the best ribbons they made. The BK-11 has the best output to noise ratio of any of their other models, the perfect low end that you want on a drum kit (adjustable by the M, V, V1 switches), and a frequency range that works quite well for vocals. This one has a new cable and is sounding exactly as it should. It has a standard stand adapter, ready for studio use! Grab one of the last great ribbon microphones RCA made in this BK-11A!
