RCA BK-5B Ribbon Microphone (#2)

This uni-directional microphone has a “blast filter” that RCA says reduces the damage to the microphone from gun blasts and violent noises. This microphone sounds incredible on guitar amps, vocals, acoustics, drum applications, horns, and more. The BK-5B is a versatile and durable ribbon that won’t disappoint when used on any source. This one features a standard RCA bass roll-off M / V / V1 switch. This microphone has been serviced with a new ribbon, new cable, new standard stand adapter, and has received a thorough cleaning. One of the thumb nuts on this microphone is a 3D printed replacement however it causes no issues when tightening the yoke and is un-noticeable. The prices of these models have gone up quite a bit lately and the availability has decreased so buy one before they become even harder to find in good working condition!
