RCA KB2A Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA KB2A Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! RCA started developing small ribbon microphones to make them more appealing when micing performers and broadcasters. Despite being quite a bit smaller than an RCA 44, the KB2 has an impressive low end. This KB2 has been serviced with a new ribbon + bypassed M/V switch (to help reduce noise) and is sounding great! If you’ve been looking for a nice warm and big sounding ribbon for drums, guitars, and more - this is the microphone for you. This KB2 has a good amount of wear to the paint, but is overall functioning perfectly. This model was used in an NBC broadcasting studio and has the markings on the microphone. Grab this KB2A Ribbon Microphone from RCA!
