RCA SK-46 Ribbon Microphone
Here’s an RCA SK-46 Ribbon Microphone from the 1960’s! These are some of my favorite ribbons, and it’d be hard to find another in better condition! This SK-46 is one of the smallest ribbons RCA made, however the sound is big, with a dark velvety low end that matches up well with drums, guitar amps, and more. RCA was always trying to create microphones with a low profile without sacrificing sound quality - this is my favorite of their attempts. This SK-46 is as clean as they come, with a new XLR cable.
